Our mission at Southern Lakes Hunting Guides is to create a hunting package that is custom made to what you desire in the time you have available while visiting the Southern Lakes Region of New Zealand.
Southern Lakes Hunting Guides is based in Queenstown making us very fortunate, as we are located within the heart of some of the best hunting and fishing in the world, boasting access to Rainbow and Brown Trout fishing and a wide variety of game animals including Red, Fallow and Whitetail deer, Elk, Chamois, Goats and Himalayan Thar.
Southern Lakes Hunting Guides understands that many people come to the Southern Lakes Region of New Zealand for a vacation and often have limited time available in their busy holiday schedules; however a Hunt or a Fish could be the perfect addition to any New Zealand adventure.
Hunting and fishing trips can be from quick half day missions through to extended packages staying in any type of accommodation that one desires from beautiful lodges to fly camping in the mountains or backcountry huts, although you may prefer to stay in the comfort of a hotel each night and be picked up each morning. Access to our unique hunting and fishing landscape is usually via 4x4 utility vehicle, boat or helicopter, we will suggest what meets your needs best.
